What drives me?

I am a mother of two wonderful kids in search of a business that would let me quit my current job and be able to give more time for my kids. I would say that I'm successful now with my job, and to be honest, I'm not after a higher position or asking for a recognition. All I wanted to do was just get my job done right. I wanted to take care of my work really well for the sake of my kids. I would say that I'm fortunate enough because at least they recognize my dedication and I can feel their trust in me. However, like what Peter Parker's uncle told him, "with great power comes great responsibility". Yeah, more responsibility at the office means, less time for my family.

I am not a hypocrit to not admit that I am happy with their praises, their commendations and wonderful congratulatory notes. But, I am more happy when I receive a kiss or a hug from my kids by just preparing their favorite meal or by just fixing their toy or just telling them stories before going to sleep. I want to spend more time with them, besides, they will not be kids forever so I wanted to cherish every moment with them.

My work is getting in the way with things I wanted to happen. Unfortunately, I cannot just drop my work that easily. Somehow, we need additional income beside what my hubby is receiving. So I decided to look for a business before I quit my job. And I was just surprised to know that there's so many opportunities over the net that I wasn't aware of. From one search to another, it just continued on and on. And my reaction was "oohh..aahh...so that's why...so that's how"...

With that, it occurred to me, there might be other women or moms or anyone who might be in the same fate as I am, who will also be needing what I have stumbled in the net. So I decided to put up this blog, in case you find it...oh, yeah, you already found it... ^__^ At the same time, it will also serve as my journal of what I have discovered, for my personal reference as well.

So I'll keep on posting new blogs for you to read. You might find them useful.
